Obituary for Christine Dee Hahn
“Christy” Christine Dee Hahn, age 54, passed away peacefully at home in Payette ID on Thursday December 22, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.
Born January 30 1968 to Donna and Bruce Shropshire, Christy married the love of her life Joseph Hahn on Sept. 20 1983. Together they had 3 amazing children-Crystal, Joey and Jamie. Christy’s favorite part of life was spending time with Joe, their kids and their grandchildren. Her and Joe loved to have gatherings with family and friends, cook for them, and so enjoyed going to Jackpot! She was a “go-getter.” She could do anything, whether cooking dinner or fixing the truck.
Christy was strong, tough, brave, determined, and kind and loving all in one. She truly loved life, and she truly loved her life. The hole she leaves behind is bigger than words can describe. We are thankful that she is in the arms of Jesus, despite the loss we feel as those left behind.
She is survived by her Husband and best friend Joseph Hahn, Children Crystal (Steve) Eason, Joey (Kaycee) Hahn, Jamie (Loren) Stewart, Sister Cherline (Boyd) Ferrel, Brother Bruce (Wendy Callahan) Shropshire, Aunt Linda Hieldbrandt, Sister in law Susan (Rex) Painter, Cricket (Tom) Arjil, Robert (Shena) Hahn, father-in-law Joseph Hahn, Grandchildren-Thomas, Madison, Bryson, Hayden, Preston, Kylen, Zoey, Khloe, Lakeston, and many nieces and nephews. Christy will be missed by her husband, children, family and all who knew her. She was one of the kindest souls ever.
A graveside Service will be held on Friday January 6 @ 11:00am at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship and food back at their home. Please come join us in Celebrating Christy’s life.
